Ragi Malt is not only a delicious beverage but also a powerhouse of nutrients, making it an excellent addition to your diet. Its cooling properties make it an ideal choice for hot summer days, while its nutritional benefits contribute to overall well-being.
Directions
In a bowl, combine 0.25 cup of Ragi Flour with 0.5 cup of water. Allow it to soak overnight.
In the morning, transfer the soaked Ragi Flour and water mixture into a saucepan.
Add 1 cup of water, crushed garlic, cumin powder, and salt.
Simmer over medium heat for about 8 minutes until it reaches a silky smooth texture, adding more water if necessary.
Allow the mixture to cool down.
Once cooled, mix the prepared Ragi mixture with 1 cup of buttermilk.
Pour the Ragi Malt into glasses and serve chilled. Enjoy the refreshing goodness!
Notes
For a creamier texture, you can blend the cooked Ragi mixture before mixing it with buttermilk.
Adjust the salt and cumin powder according to your taste preferences.
To enhance the flavor, you can garnish the Ragi Malt with fresh mint leaves or a sprinkle of roasted cumin powder before serving.
