Keep the dumpling wrappers covered with a damp cloth to prevent drying out.
Experiment with different dipping sauces for added variety.
Leftover dumplings can be frozen for later consumption.
Directions
In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped onion, minced garlic, grated carrot, chopped spinach, cilantro, soy sauce, grated ginger, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until thoroughly combined.
Take a dumpling wrapper and place a spoonful of the chicken mixture in the center.
Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold it in half and seal the edges, pressing firmly.
Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Place the dumplings in the skillet, ensuring they're not overcrowded.
Cook for 2-3 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown.
Carefully pour water into the skillet until it covers the bottom by about half an inch.
