33.33 grams Wheat Dalia
1 tablespoon Ghee
10 grams Cashews
2 cups Ragi milk
1 piece Cardamom pod
Saffron as per taste
quarter cup Jaggery powder
1 cup Water
Directions
Heat a cooker over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of ghee and allow it to melt.
Add 1/3 cup of dalia (broken wheat) to the cooker.
Also, add 10 grams of cashews or dry fruit powder for extra goodness.
Roast the dalia and cashews until they turn golden brown and aromatic.
Pour in (2 cups) of prepared ragi milk into the cooker.
Add a crushed cardamom pod and a pinch of saffron for flavor.
Mix in (1/4 cup) of jaggery powder for sweetness.
Pour in (1 cup) of water and stir well to combine all the ingredients.
Close the lid of the cooker and cook for about 3 whistles, or until the dalia is cooked through and soft.
Once cooked, allow the pressure to release naturally.
Open the cooker and give the mixture a good stir.
Transfer the dalia with ragi milk into a serving bowl.Serve warm and watch your little one enjoy this nutritious and delicious meal!
