10 pieces Garlic Cloves

10 pieces Green Chilies

Salt as per taste

Directions

Heat a pan over medium heat and add 3 tablespoons of oil.

Add peanuts, cumin seeds, garlic cloves, and green chilies. Saute until golden brown.

Season with salt, then transfer the mixture to a mortar and pestle.

Grind into a coarse paste to make Thecha. Set aside.

6 pieces Curry leaves

half kg Dodka ridge gourd

Salt as per taste

quarter cup Thecha

Directions

In the same pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil.Add asafoetida (hing) and curry leaves, sauté until fragrant.

Add the prepared Thecha paste and mix well.

Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes until the ridge gourd is tender.

Serve hot with bhakri or roti.
