Directions
Soak red lentils in water for about 2 hours.
In a mixer grinder, blend soaked red lentils with 0.5 cup of water until smooth.
Heat a pan and add the blended red lentil mixture. Cook for about 5 minutes until it thickens, stirring constantly.
Take a mold or tray, spread the cooked lentil paste evenly, and let it sit until set.
Once set, cut the lentil mixture into small pieces resembling tofu. You can make approximately 250g of lentil tofu.
Heat a pan and roast the lentil tofu until golden brown, sprinkling with salt and pepper.
Serve hot with your favorite dip or chutney.
